The Music Classes for Kirtan are held every Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm by renowed
teacher Sital Singh Sitara Ji.

Music/Kirtan is taught from junior to senior diploma level up to
MA and PhD level with close association of an Institute in Chandigarh, Punjab, India

Children who are students at this class hold 2-3 programs every year at this gurdwara
To help them build confidence to perform in front of the sangat.

Harmonium




The Harmonium is a pump-powered reed organ,

In India and other parts of South Asia, harmoniums

are fairly portable and the bellows on the

back are pumped with one hand while playing the

keys with the other hand




The tabla consist of two single headed, barrel shaped

small drums of slightly different sizes and shapes:


Daya also called Dahina means

right (also called "tabla")


Baya also called Bahia meaning

left (also called ("Dagga")
